Proving to be one of the best Oak for our region with bright red fall color. The leaves are deeply lobed and skinnier than most Oak, allowing sunlight to filter through. Does well in alkaline soils common in our area, and drought tolerant. Everything's bigger in Texas, and this is a big Oak for a big yard.
