Ornamental Pear are among our most popular and appropriate trees for our area. They are fast growing with an upright oval habit and glossy green leaves. Profuse white flowers adorn the tree early in the season. Explosive orange-red-yellow fall color! Several cultivars available that are essentially interchangable include Cleveland Select, Aristocrat, Redspire, and Autumn Blaze. They are stronger branched than the parent, 'Bradford', but still susceptible to winter storm damage. Fast growing and reliable. Often available in larger caliper sizes.
